FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of polymer processing, more specifically to the research and optimization of molding conditions of products made of polymeric composite materials (PCM) manufactured using technology such as RTM (ResinToolMolding), LRI (LiquidResinInfusion), RFI (ResinFilmInfusion), more specifically to the researches of steeping of a tissue sample previously laid in closed cavity of measuring cell of device (bench) for studying kinetics of steeping of tissues with various structures and chemical nature in conditions of dampening and filtration. Proposed device for studying the kinetics of steeping of tissue samples with liquid polymer binders consists of a reservoir with a liquid binder, a device for dipping study sample with a binder and a compressor to create pressure when giving the binder. Device for dipping is a horizontal tube with tappeds made of transparent material; one end of the tube is connected to a reservoir with liquid binder for dipping under pressure, and at the same end of the bend of the tube a gas tank is installed to input gas bubble into the binder in the tube; to control the pressure that determines motion speed of the binder in the tube, pressure detector is connected, and to determine the motion speed of the binder in the dipping device, a device for video fixing is installed, with reference to real time of movement of gas bubble in the binder; in all branches of the tube to indicated compressor, reservoir with binder, gas tank, manometer, stopcocks are installed. In this case, to steep filler with the binder a measuring cell for a sample of tissue to be examined is placed between located in front transparent capillary tube and a catch tank for bleedout; measuring cell is a construction of two rectangular metal die plates and punch with fluoroplastic jacket with air proof plain rectangular slot between them for placing in it a tissue sample with the possibility of its external compression by punch; insertion holes into air proof slot of the cell of liquid polymer binder and output of its surplus are located lateral on the opposite sides of plates and they are equipped with connection to join external tubes. Device allows to adjust the width of front of the binder flow by changing the location along periphery of the tissue sample of the compaction elements guiding the binder into sample. Proposed device allows to conduct studies of the kinetics of dipping of tissue samples of various braidings with liquid polymer binders under conditions of different pressure of binder injection.
EFFECT: obtained results can be used to select conditions of dipping and to calculate the strength of polymer composite die mold during its planning.
