FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pontoons and oil tank covers in storage and transfer of oil and oil products. Invention aims at increasing efficiency and decreasing oil evaporation losses. Proposed gate comprises sealing element with suspension to cover annular gas space between tank wall and pontoon above oil surface. It is equipped with ribbon hollow torus of elastic oil-and-gas-proof material fitted under said sealing element in diameter equal to width of ring fitted between tank wall and pontoon dipped in oil or oil product by half the diameter. Ring springs secured to suspensions are arranged inside said torus. Torus bottom is provided with oil or oil product inlet. Overpressure of saturated vapours is produced inside said torus to tightly press said torus to tank wall and to pontoon wall or to floating cover.
EFFECT: ruled out exposed evaporation surface and evaporation losses of oil and oil products.
