FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electronics and electric engineering, in particular, to a monitoring method for a controller of a three-phase electric motor and/or electric motor. The monitoring method suggests measurement of two phase currents (ia, ib), a zero value check for at least one of the two measured phase currents (ia, ib), a check of the error signal generation when at least one of the two measured phase currents (ia, ib), in essence, is equal to zero, a nonzero value check for the two measured phase currents (ia, ib), a check of the sum formed by the two measured phase currents (ia, ib), a check of the error signal generation when at least one of the two measured phase currents (ia, ib), in essence, is equal to zero. At that when the error signal appears the first counter value is increased, and then the second counter value is increased if the first counter within a certain period of time exceeds its first limit value multiply. Then non-availability of at least one of the three phase currents is detected when the second counter exceeds the second limit value. A household device, in particular, a dishwasher or a washing machine, contains an electric motor and a device to monitor operating capacity of the electric motor.
EFFECT: improving reliability of fault detection for the electric motor.
