FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used to control a synchronous motor with permanent magnets, used as a linear drive for an electric submersible pumping unit. In the method of controlling a synchronous electric motor, an algorithm is implemented for controlling a synchronous electric motor with permanent magnets, in particular, used as a linear drive for an electric submersible pumping unit. According to the method, changes in reactive current Iq are determined relative to the task Iqtask, according to which voltage correction signals Uq and Ud are formed, which lead to the values necessary for the formation of a given value of the reactive current Iqtask.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the accuracy of electric motor torque control, increase the energy efficiency of the electric motor and increase the speed of control systems by minimizing settings and eliminating complex calculations of electric motor parameters.
