FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device for protection of an internal space of premises against fragments of the wall damaged as a result of impact from the outside, mainly the premises of a nuclear power plant, has a protective shield with holes in the periphery hung up on dampers on the wall from the side opposite to the dangerous zone. The dampers are designed in the form of anchors fixed in the wall, the outer part of which is bent in a shape of a helical tension spring, and the shield is mounted on free ends of the bent parts of the anchors.

EFFECT: preventing penetration of large pieces and fragments into the interior space of the premises, which may arise during the local wall destruction in the event of emergency case related with the pipeline rupture and a pipe whip stroke against the outside wall of the premises, increase of operational safety of a nuclear power plant.
