FIELD: NPP premises protecting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for protecting the internal volume of the premises of a nuclear power plant (NPP) from fragments of the wall as a result of external shock loads, for example, blows of pipe whips on the outer wall of the room in case of pipeline ruptures, an aircraft crash on the reactor building or other buildings. In the device for protecting the internal volume of the premises of a nuclear power plant from fragments of a wall damaged by a blow from the outside, containing a protective screen with holes suspended from the side of the internal volume of the premises by means of anchors fixed in the wall through these holes, each of the anchors contains a cylindrical part, the outer section of which, from wall surface to the border of the transition to the conical part, passes through the hole in the protective screen, the conical part is installed in such a way that its smallest diameter coincides with the diameter of the cylindrical part, and at the other end of the conical part a latch is made, the diameter of which exceeds the largest diameter of the conical part, while the thickness of the protective screen around each hole is made less than the thickness of the protective screen, forming a thinning zone.
