FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the confectionary branch of food industry. The chewing gum contains a gum base, a filler and a flavouring agent. The filler contains 5 wt % - 90 wt % of erythrite granules. At least 25 wt % of erythrite granules have size equal to more than 250 mcm. According to the other version, the filler contains a mixture of erythrite granules. The mixture contains at least 50 wt % - 99 wt % of coarse granules sized more than 250 mcm. The erythrite granules account for 5 wt % - 80 wt % of the chewing gum weight.

EFFECT: invention allows to ensure moistening sensation in the oral cavity of the consumer as a result of the proposed product consumption.
