FIELD: physics, photography.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a developing cartridge consisting of an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum and a developing roller (which processes a photosensitive drum), particularly to a developing cartridge in which an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum and a developing roller can be brought into contact with each other and are separated from each other. Disclosed process cartridge comprises an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, a developing roller capable of moving between a contacting position, where said developing roller is in contact with said electrophotographic light-sensitive drum for developing an electrostatic latent image formed by said electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, and a detached position where said developing roller is detached from said electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, a frame which supports said electrophotographic light-sensitive drum and said developing roller, a force-sensitive detached area, which is movable between a protruding position, where said force-sensitive detached area protrudes from said frame, and a drawn position where said force-sensitive detached area is drawn from the protruding position towards the inside of said frame, and which receives a first external force for moving said developing roller from the contacting position to the detached position in the protruding position, a force-sensitive protruding area which receives a second external force for moving said force-sensitive detached area from the drawn position to the protruding position, and an amplifier mechanism for creating distance over which said force-sensitive detached area moves from the detached position to the protruding position, which is greater than the distance over which said force-sensitive protruding area is moved by the second external force.
EFFECT: providing a developing cartridge in which an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum and a developing roller can be brought into contact with each other or can be separated from each other, and which has considerably smaller dimensions compared to the analogue, and providing a developing cartridge in which an electrophotographic element and the developing roller can be brought into contact with each other or can be separated from each other and in which the force-sensitive area for moving the developing unit is less susceptible to damage when handled by a user or during transportation thereof compared to the analogue known in the prior art.
