SUBSTANCE: developing cartridge comprises an electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a developing roller for developing an electrostatic latent image formed by the said electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a drum frame supporting the said electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a developing frame supporting the said developing roller. The said developing frame is made with the ability to move relative to the said drum frame, and is capable of taking a contacting position in which the said developing roller is in contact with the said electrophotographic photosensitive drum, and a spaced position in which the said developing roller is spaced from the said electrophotographic photosensitive drum; and the force receiving device, which comprises a first force receiving section for receiving the first external force, and a second force receiving section for receiving the second external force, and the said second force receiving section is made with the ability of movement relative to the said developing frame. The said second force receiving section is placed in a ready position, in which it is retracted from the operating position by the said first force receiving section, receiving the first external force, and is made with the ability to move from the ready position to the operating position to move the said developing frame from the contacting position to the spaced position. The distance by which the said second force receiving section is moved from the ready position to the operating position is greater than the distance by which the first force receiving section is moved under the action of the first external force.
EFFECT: ability of removable mounting into the main unit of the electrophotographic image forming device.
