SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealed shaft journal bearings, particularly, to perfected seal assembly for taper roller bearing. Roller bearing assembly comprises inner race (138), outer race (132), rollers (42, 44), compensation ring (160), seal (152), rotary element (181), fixed element (147) and oil thrower (165). Seal (152) comprises first end section (148) fitted inside cylindrical countersunk recess (117) in outer race (132) and second end section (155). Rotary, in fact, cylindrical element (181) comprises outer section (182), mid section (183) and inner section (184). Inner section (184) has outer surface (195) abutting on cylindrical outer surface of compensation ring (160). Mid section (183) connects inner section (184) with outer section (182). Rotary, in fact, cylindrical element (147) comprises outer section (149), mid section (151) and inner section (188). Outer section (149) has outer surface adjoining said second end section (155). Inner section (188) extends between sections (182) and (184). In fact, cylindrical oil thrower (165) comprises outer section (161) and inner section (157). Inner section (157) has outer surface abutting on cylindrical outer surface of compensation ring (160). Outer section (161) extends near said second end section (155), radially outside it.
EFFECT: perfected seal assembly.
