FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring of technical state of complex power plants, for example aircraft gas-turbine engines (GTE), and can be used for GTE diagnostics during their operation in real time, at maintenance and/or repair. A method for determining the technical state of a power plant involves monitoring of values of the chosen operating parameters of the plant in the specified operating modes of the power plant, their comparison to the reference ones and the technical state of the plant is determined as per their difference; with that, a standardised range index (Hurst exponent) is determined as per controlled operating parameters, the value of which is compared to the reference value, and Hurst exponent is determined as per values of vibration characteristic as per values of a flow part of the power plant in the specified operating modes of the plant.
EFFECT: monitoring of technical state of complex power plants.
