FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods for vibrational diagnostics of intermittent mechanisms, in particular, to a method for vibrational diagnostics of gas turbine engines (GTE). The substance of the invention consists in identifying certain characteristics of the object, which remain unchanged during normal operation of the object and change with occurrence of defects. The characteristics (invariants) are then used as direct or indirect diagnostic indicators. Realised in the method is a possibility of applying the apparatus of cumulants of higher-order spectra to obtain a system of diagnostic indicators and invariants suitable for identifying the early stages of development of damage to the bearing supports of a GTE, including at rotor rates corresponding to the cold or technological engine motoring modes.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the accuracy, certainty and efficiency of diagnostics of gas turbine engines in resource-conserving modes of operation.
