FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: this method comprises development of pressure in pipeline to 0.02-2.5 MPa, fitting of gasket on plunger valve flange and fitting of packer at said flange. Note here that said packer has shutoff head with case arranged at poppet sleeve. Case lower part accommodates rubber seal with toothed surface. Case upper part accommodates metal blocks with toothed surface and actuator to extend them relative of case surface. Then, valve is closed to fit shutoff head in pipe behind said valve by means of aforesaid said actuator to lock said head in said pipe. Now, shutoff head is released from poppet sleeve, valve is cut off said pipe to weld elliptic plug thereto.
EFFECT: simplified process, higher reliability.
