FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: glass of a magnesium-alumosilicate composition, crystallised until the main crystalline phase cordierite is obtained, is applied as an initial material. Crushing of crystallised glass is carried out until water slip with a density of 1.98-2.02 g/cm3, with pH 2.0-4.0 and fineness with a residue on a sieve of 0.063 mm 0-10%. After that, blanks are formed with further thermal processing of the formed blanks at a temperature of 1360-1380°C for 1-6 hours. A rate of temperature increase and decrease is not higher than 500°C an hour.
EFFECT: reduction of dielectric permeability and dielectric loss tangent.
