FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for recording the neutron flux of nuclear facility in the wide measurement range, consisting in the fact that neutron flux of nuclear facility is detected by registering the current mode of fission chamber with subsequent measurement and processing of fission chamber current out of irradiation zone. Counting mode of single neutrons is used simultaneously with the current mode. Direct measurements of neutron registration acts are carried out in the range of linear dependence of the counting rate from the neutron flux, besides signal provided by single neutrons without preamplification, is transmitted through the cable line for registration and processing out of irradiation zone. After that, dependences of neutron flux density from time measured by the fission chamber in the counting and current modes, are combined.
EFFECT: increase of measurement reliability of neutron flux at values of recorded current from chamber lower than ten background currents of chamber when maintaining the reliability and stability of operating characteristics of recording equipment.
