FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: proposed gadget comprises thermistors arranged at control levels in Dewar to carry heating current. Measuring assembly of every thermistor defines thermistor resistance change, compares measured resistance with reference values and serves as the indicator. It is composed of microcontroller with current output and voltage measurement input connected to thermistor. Said microcontroller generates heating current at current output. Besides, it doubles as the device to update the thermistor reference resistance at generation of signal indicating that liquid nitrogen reaches the controlled level.

EFFECT: fast response, lower non-productive loses of liquid nitrogen, ruled out influence of ageing effects on control functions.
