SUBSTANCE: invention relates, generally, to plug applicators. Proposed device comprises long case with inner chamber to accommodate the plug, grip area adjacent, in fact, to case outer end, top area adjacent, in fact, to case inner end and central area extending in lengthwise direction between grip area and top area. Plunger to eject the plug from case inner end extends inside the case at its outer end to displace relative to said case. Case outer area in said grip area features friction factor different from that of central area of the case. In compliance with other versions, case outer surface friction factor in central area differs from that in top area.
