SUBSTANCE: toothbrush having a head with an upper side where the first, second and third cleaning elements are positioned forming zones that ensure different tooth care zones. The first cleaning elements have first bundles of bristles or are designed in the form of individual bunches (each of them having a long side and a short side and, accordingly, a base of rectangular or oval cross-section) or in the form of composite bundles spatially separated from each other and positioned so that their centres lie on the on the straight lines formed by the first bundles of bristles so that the areas encapsulating such composite bundles include first bundles of bristles and have a base of rectangular or oval cross-section. Positioned on the head upper side are several first bundles of bristles so that the common surface that envelopes them has an approximately triangular, square, diamond-shaped of pentagonal base.
