SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolled material production and can be used in machines for rolling of fabric in textile finishing works. A device for a web material tension control comprises a drive electric motor, a tension sensor, a tension adjustment unit, a power amplifier, a unit to calculate a theoretical radius of a roll, two summation units, a scaling unit, a divider and a current sensor. The input of the unit to calculate the theoretical radius of a roll is connected to the shaft of the electric motor. The drive electric motor is connected to the power amplifier via the current sensor. The current sensor output is connected to the scaling unit input. The scaling unit output is connected to the first input of the divider. The second input of the divider is connected to the tension sensor. The divider output is connected to the first input of the first summation unit. The second input of the first summation unit is connected to the output of the theoretical radius calculation unit. The output of the first summation unit is connected to the input of the tension adjustment unit. The output of the tension adjustment unit is connected to the first input of the second summation unit. The second input of the second summation unit is connected to the tension sensor. The output of the second summation unit is connected to the power amplifier input.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of the rolling density stabilisation.
