SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolled material production and can be used in machines for rolling of fabric in textile finishing works. A device for a web material tension control comprises an electric motor, a tension sensor, a tension adjustment unit, a sensor of the number of turns in a roll, two summation units, a sensor of the roll angular frequency of revolution, a sensor of the material rolling speed, a device for setting the Archimedean spiral parameter, the first and the second dividers. The electric motor is connected to a power amplifier. The output of the sensor of the roll angular frequency of revolution is connected to the first input of the first divider. The second input of the first divider is connected to the output of the rolling speed sensor, and the first divider output is connected to the first input of the second divider. The second input of the second divider is connected to the output of the sensor of the number of turns in a roll, and the second divider output is connected to the first input of the first summation unit. The second input of the first summation unit is connected to the output of the device for setting the Archimedean spiral parameter, and its output is connected to the input of the tension adjustment unit. The output of the tension adjustment unit is connected to the first input of the second summation unit. The second input of the second summation unit is connected to the tension sensor, while its output is connected to the power amplifier input.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of the rolling density stabilisation.
