FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: washing and roasting machine comprises a washing chamber, a chamber to separate water from the raw material and a roasting chamber. A helical band with oval protrusions on its surface is attached to the inner side of the washing chamber. A vertical shaft with multirow brushes is set in the centre of the washing chamber. The outer surface of the washing chamber is fitted with nozzles for washing water supply, and its lower part - with branch pipes for the supply of waste superheated steam from the roasting chamber. The chamber to separate water from the raw material is installed under the washing chamber and is equipped with a screw which is connected to a compound screw by a constant velocity joint, the first and the last turns of the latter screw are solid, all the other turns are perforated. Segment cuts are provided in the perforated turns with the certain pitch. The compound screw is installed in the roasting chamber whose lower perforated part is supplied with superheated steam from a steam generator. A washing circuit and a superheated steam circuit are operated according to the recirculation principle.

EFFECT: use of the invention will allow for the improvement of the raw material washing and roasting quality.
