FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diamond tools produced using fixing of diamond grains on tool body by electric deposition of metal binder, that is, tool on electroplating binder. Said tools may represent cutter wheels, annular drill bits, various grinding tools, etc. Diamond tool comprises body whereon cutting diamond grins are fixed by electroplating binder including ultra dispersed filler. The latter represents powders with destruction temperature exceeding 800°C, abrasive grit of 20 - 100 nm, their volume content in binder making 0.3 - 2.5 %. Said powders are selected from the group consisting of: Al2O3, SiO2, TiO2, Ti2O3, ZrO2, Fe2O3, Fe3O4, B4C, SiC, AlBi2, SiB4, SiB6, Fe2B.
EFFECT: longer life, expanded machining performances.
