FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of ash-and-slad wastes by foam silicate production. Production of foam silicate comprises smelting of charge in reduction medium with preliminary increase in silicon and calcium oxide in initial charge to SiO2/CaO ratio equal to 1-2. Charge based on ash-and-slad wastes is subjected to smelting in bubbling slag melt in Vanyukov's furnace, that is, the liquid pool furnace. Said furnace has two-zone structure with process separation to melt production zone and zone of deep reduction smelting of ash-and-slad wastes. Said zone of deep reduction smelting of ash-and-slad wastes is created by additional enrichment with coal and feed of air-oxygen blowing in the melt lower plies. Metal and silicate melt components are discharged separately. Melt silicate portion is cooled under thermal shock with discharge in water to get foam silicate.
EFFECT: expanded range of suitable stock, higher porosity and metastability.
