FIELD: manufacture of porous glass materials from nepheline slimes. SUBSTANCE: nepheline slime comprises oxides and metals platinum, palladium, cold and silver and further comprises silicon oxide and is melted in reducing medium. Silicate part of melt is cooled by pouring into water, and metallic part concentrating noble metals is poured out into ingot mold. Method makes it possible to obtain not only foam silicate materials with bulk density of 100-300 kg/cubic m and simultaneously to obtain concentrate of noble metals. EFFECT: improved properties of the porous glass materials. 3 cl
