FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to active action on hydrometeorological processes with an ice-forming pyrotechnic composition which is used for active action on clouds and fog for dispersal thereof, preventing hailstorms and inducing precipitation from clouds through ice-forming nuclei obtained from burning a special-purpose pyrotechnic composition. The pyrotechnic composition for active action on clouds and fog contains ammonium perchlorate, phenol-formaldehyde resin, aluminium powder or aluminium-magnesium alloy powder, an ice-forming agent - silver iodide, thiocol, epoxy resin, curing agents and plasticisers.
EFFECT: composition provides complete sublimation of expensive silver iodide and has improved ice-forming properties; improved ice-forming properties in a wide temperature range provides a considerably wide range of action of the pyrotechnic composition on both supercooled clouds and on relatively warm clouds and fog.
