FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnic compositions containing perchlorate and an organic component which is not explosive, which, during combustion, form an aerosol which affects the weather, for dispersing clouds and fog from supercooled clouds using ice nuclei obtained from burning reactive filler of means of delivering pyrotechnic charges into the volume to be processed. The pyrotechnic composition contains ammonium perchlorate, phenol-formaldehyde resin, dicyandiamide, a mixture of finely ground powder of silver, potassium and copper iodides, and graphite and industrial oil as process additives.

EFFECT: improved technological effectiveness and safety of producing a more efficient pyrotechnic charge due to complete sublimation of functional reactants; the composition has high rate and temperature of combustion with formation of a large volume of aerosol products, performs additional functions of solid fuel pellets of rocket engine, which considerably simplifies the design of weather rockets for processing clouds.
