FIELD: pyrotechnics. SUBSTANCE: composition is designed for dispersing clouds and mists, preventing hail hits, and provoking atmospheric precipitates with the help of ice-forming nuclei obtained from combustion of composition. The latter contains, wt.%: ammonium perchlorate (oxidant), 48-58; phenol- formaldehyde resin, 13-17; dicyanediamide (burning rate regulator and flame suppressor), 9-11; mixture of fine powders of silver iodide and potassium iodide as ice-forming reagent, 7-9 and 11-13, respectively; and process additive, in particular graphite, Aerosil, or industrial oil, 1-3. Composition is characterized by ice-forming effect threshold 4-5 C, yield of active crystallization nuclei at 10 C equal to (1-2)*E13 from 1 g composition and at minus 6 C up to 7.5*E12 from 1 g composition.
