FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to feedstuff industry, in particular, to a leather waste-based fodder additive for ruminant animals. The method for production of a leather waste-based fodder additive for ruminant animals envisages milling of ingredients of the leather wastes-containing fodder additive into particles sized 5-10 mm and the produced fodder mixture extrusion at a temperature of 400°C under a pressure of 50 MPa during 180 sec. The fodder is produced from the following initial components, wt %: leather wastes - 20.0, hullless barley - 45.0, red carrots - 5.0, carbamide - 20.0, bentonite - 10.0. 1 kg of the fodder contains the following ingredients: fodder units - 0.99, digestible protein - 320.0 g, calcium - 27.5 g, phosphorus - 13.2 g, starch - 205.0 g, sugar - 21.0 g, carotene - 50.0 mg.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to enhance animals productiveness and reduce the product prime costs.
