FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to in-well calibration of tools. In-well transducer calibration device comprises case and rotary mechanism or gimbal mount arranged therein and including at least one transducer. Note here that said rotary mechanism allows the transducer turn in three perpendicular axes, transducer sensitivity axis displacing in 3D orbit. Besides, this invention covers the transducer calibration process consisting in application of measurements made in said 3D orbit for transducer calibration and definition of the other parameters of said transducer or calibrated tool.
EFFECT: elimination of constraints at calibration of downhole instruments of temperature walk and other faults of the transducer.
