FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: method for vehicle tire air pressure control includes determination of vehicle wheel motion parameters with subsequent comparison of specified wheel parameters with obtained data of air pressure in tires. Distances travelled by each of wheels on road straight-line portions under conditions of motion without acceleration and slippage are determined using information from standard sensors of vehicle control systems. As standard sensor information, data of yaw direction stability system sensors, information about wheel rotation, steering wheel angular position, accelerator pedal position, brake pedal position and longitudinal; acceleration is used.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of tire air pressure control.
