FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement of radioactivity and designed for registration of high-energy beta-radiators in water flows by Cherenkov radiation. The invention includes a metering reservoir with a transparent vessel placed inside of it, having an inlet and an outlet for the investigated liquid medium; at least four photoelectron multipliers, connected with the metering reservoir, each of which is placed into a dimming body; pulse amplifiers connected to photoelectron multipliers; a unit of information processing, connected with pulse amplifiers, at the same time photoelectron multipliers are located in close proximity to walls of the transparent vessel and at the equidistant distance from each other.

EFFECT: definition of efficiency of registration in process of measurement (according to TDCR system) and identification of a beta emitter dominant in this sample by the ratio of double, triple and higher multitude of matches.
