FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: plasty of the oesophageal hiatus is performed by a wall of the mobilised stomach fundus. The highest points of the stomach fundus, the adjacent portions of the left crus of the diaphragm and the oesophagus wall are sewn with inclusion of the oesophageal-diaphragmatic ligament. Lower portions of the left crus of the diaphragm and the adjoining part of the stomach fundus are sewn. The lower part of the right crus of the diaphragm and the adjoining part of the stomach fundus are sewn. Analogous suture is applied on the upper part of the right crus of the diaphragm.
EFFECT: method provides low-traumatic, precise laparoscopic correction of the oesophageal-gastric junction with the absence of the oesophagus shortening due to wide mobilisation of the cardia, the stomach fundus, and the distal part of the oesophagus, which prevents tightening of tissues in the process of carrying out fundoplication.
