FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery. Diaphragm-esophageal ligament is separated from the structure of the hernial sacpuloplasmoscopically. Ligament is transected 1.0-1.5 cm from the anterior end of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm. Free end of the ligament is fixed with a continuous suture to the middle third of the abdominal esophagus with a monofilament nonabsorptive non-traumatic suture.
EFFECT: method provides reducing probability of recurrence rate and postoperative complications, such as dysphagia.
