FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of doping alumooxide ceramics includes obtaining a slip blank, removal of a technological binding agent and burning. In accordance with the invention after removal of the technological binding agent the blank is soaked with a water solution of zirconyl nitrate ZrO(NO3)2×2H2O, after which it is heated with an increase of temperature to 400°C. Subsequent burning is carried out with even heating of the blank to a temperature of 1600-1650°C for 12 hours, with an exposure at the maximal temperature up to 1 hour and further even cooling of the blank to room temperature for 3-4 hours.
EFFECT: increased strength and reduction of dispersion of alumooxide ceramics strength.
