FIELD: ceramic materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing modified ceramic materials based on quartz glass. The method for producing quartz ceramics includes making a slip from broken quartz glass, forming a raw workpiece by casting into plaster moulds, impregnating the raw workpiece with a liquid impregnating solution, drying the impregnated quartz ceramic workpiece and subsequent heat treatment. The impregnating solution contains a mixture of Al(NO3)3, Mg(NO3)3, ZrOCl2, tetraethoxysilane, 2-propanol, dimethylformamide, polyvinylpyrrolidone and water in the following component ratio, wt.%: Al(NO3)3 - 0.7-8.6, Mg(NO3)2 - 0-11.5, ZrOCl2 - 0-3.9, tetraethoxysilane - 23.5-48.2, propanol-2 - 10.6-32.1, polyvinylpyrrolidone - 0-1.6, water - 10.7-38.3, dimethylformamide 6.1-8.7. Heat treatment of the impregnated quartz ceramic workpiece is carried out at a temperature of 1100-1200°C.
