FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. ICE comprises four hollow cylinders 2 accommodating pistons 1 aligned therewith, working fluid inlet and waste working fluid outlet. Cylinders 2 are arranged in pairs so that cylinders 2 of one pair share common shaft and are fixed and opposed. Pistons 1 reciprocate in opposition along aforesaid axis of the pair of cylinders 2. Axes of said pairs of cylinders 2 are located in common plane of cylinders to intersect at right angle. Engine incorporates four revolving shafts 6 arranged perpendicular to said plane of cylinders 2. Every shaft 6 is articulated with appropriate pistons 1 by crank gear to make reciprocation of pistons 1 convert into rotation of shafts 6. Cylinders 2 are arranged opposed between pistons 1 of every pair of cylinders 2. Every piston 1 is articulated with two pairs of con-rods 3 of crank gears. Crank gears of one pair of con-rods 3 and another pair of con-rods 3 are located at opposite sides from the plane of cylinders 2.
EFFECT: decreased noise and vibration.
