FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of machine-building, namely, to articulated couplings intended for transmission of torque between connected shafts with compensation of the angular and radial displacements of these shafts. The articulated coupling comprises the driving and driven semi-couplings, intermediate element, pins and hinges. The semi-couplings are provided with horns located in mutually-perpendicular planes and having through radial holes and interacting with an intermediate element placed between them. The intermediate element is provided with through radial holes located in mutually perpendicular planes. In order to lock the intermediate element in semi-couplings, the device is provided with pins. Cylindrical grooves are made in the horns of semi-couplings for placing intermediate element thereto. The axes of slots are perpendicular to the symmetry axes of horns of semi-couplings, while the width of slots in radial direction is bigger than the thickness of intermediate element.
EFFECT: compensation of radial displacements of connected shafts is provided.
