FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed indicator consists of pressure gage, hose and connector. The latter is composed of tee connected to said hose by vertical branch pipe. Two free horizontal branch pipes can be connected with engine lubing system oil line arranged upstream of the filter. Pressure gage dial is composed of three sectors located clockwise to indicate filter clogging. Note here that said sectors are located between two concentric circles. Larger-diameter circle is aligned with circumference connected the dial scale outer gage marks. Smaller-diameter circle is aligned with circumference connected the dial scale inner gage marks. Every said indicating sector is radially separated by gage marks. Green sector first gage mark corresponds to clean filter oil pressure. Red sector second gage mark corresponds to extremely clogged filter oil pressure, pressure gage top measurement limit is higher than maximum oil pressure upstream of oil filter at engine starting.
EFFECT: efficient detector.
