FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing and technical diagnosis of machines, in particular to the built-in instrumentation of machines equipped with internal combustion engines. In addition, it can be used to create portable devices for determining the effective power of internal combustion engines. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the tachospeedometer, which is a part of the built-in instrumentation of machines, is designed to receive an electrical signal from the phase winding of the generator during engine acceleration from its minimum crankshaft speed to the maximum. At the same time, its dial supplemented with a sector and scales for fixing runout of a dial gauge of the engine crankshaft speed.
EFFECT: based on the proposed technical solutions, it is possible to create a tachospeedometer, an additional function of which is to determine the effective power of the internal combustion engine.
