SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgical dressings. An orthopaedic bandage device (1) for an ankle joint comprises a knitted section (2) having a sock-shaped knitted base (2a), a ribbon section (3) connected to the knitted section (2) having an elongated ribbon-like base (3a). At least one section (3b) connected to the knitted base (2a) extends from the ribbon base (3a) and has a pronation effect on the user's ankle joint when the bandage device (1) is applied and the ribbon section (3) is connected to the knitted section (2). The ribbon-like base (3a) consists of an extensible section (3f) and a non-extensible section (3g) connected thereto with the ribbon section (3b) extending from the non-extensible section (3g).
EFFECT: providing the pronation effect on the user's ankle joint.
