FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: two three-layer packs are made to accommodate nickel plate therein between plates of aluminium and copper to be by welded by explosion. Cavity-forming elements composed by corrosion-proof heat conducting metal pipes are arranged coaxially inside tubular copper shells. Flat pack is assembled from produced stacks to be placed between welded three-layer blanks and exposed to explosion welding by simultaneous initiation of explosive blast. Welded blank is annealed to produce intermetallide layers and by spontaneous separation of aluminium and nickel layers in air cooling. Refractory coating composed of layers of intermetallide aluminium-nickel system is produced on nickel plate surface.
EFFECT: high operating temperature of the article in oxidative gases low thermal resistance at heat exchange with ambient medium.
