FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for cold treatment of products with carbon dioxide recirculation comprises an insulated housing, horizontal cooling pipes, atomisers mounted around the periphery of the apparatus and connected to each other by a liquid cryogenic agent feeding pipe, a cylindrical perforated grille which forms a hollow cylinder. The pipe is connected to a collector for feeding coolant, which is connected to the horizontal cooling pipes. At the centre of the chamber there is an axial vacuum collector with a vacuum pump connected thereto. The apparatus is provided with a collector for outlet of carbon dioxide for recirculation, for which a cascade cooling apparatus is provided.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the apparatus owing to higher intensity of heat exchange.
