FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in gas compression and expansion devices, in expander-compressors, in refrigerating and cryogenic units, in heat pumps, in gas liquefaction plants, in air separation plants, and so forth. Said technical result is achieved by the fact that the heat and cold generation plant contains a cascade pressure exchanger, the low pressure working medium supply port of which is connected by means of a supercharging device to a heat energy source, low pressure working medium removal port of the cascade pressure exchanger is connected to the cold consumer, the high pressure working medium supply port through the heat removal device supplied to the heat consumer is connected to the compressor outlet of the compressing working medium, which input is connected to the heat source, and the high-pressure working medium removal port through the heat removal device supplied to the heat consumer, it is connected by means of a circulating fan to the high-pressure working medium supply port; at that, the bypass channels of the cascade pressure exchanger are built into the heat supply device in the form of a heat exchanger.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of gas expansion and compression systems, made on the basis of pressure exchangers, expanded scope of application and simplified design.
