FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical transmissions and can be used as driveline component in production equipment, transport, load lifting and agricultural machines. Friction variable-speed drive contains driving (1) and driven (2) cones pressed by springs (3) to metal intermediate body (4). The intermediate body (4) is able to move along surfaces of cones (4). Voltage from current source (6) is supplied to the cones (1 and 2) using current-collecting devices. Slave regulation system consists of current regulator (8), adder unit (9), setting unit (10) and torque sensor (11). Signal from output of adder unit (9) to which signal from setting unit (10) is supplied enters current regulator (8). Signal from setting unit (10) is proportional to set torque on variable-speed drive output shaft, and signal from torque sensor (11) in its turn is proportional to actual torque.
EFFECT: lower wear rate of driving and driven cones and intermediate body.
