FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transmission contains housing, driving (13) and driven (8) shafts, cones (4), ring (3) stop cylinder (10) and ring (5). The cones (4) are double-ended and mounted for movement into bearing members of driving shaft (13) and stop cylinder (10). Stop cylinder (10) is movably mounted into bearing member of the housing of variable-speed drive unit from the side of driven shaft (8). Driving shaft (13) is hollow and provided with pinion (15) of power drive. Rod (12) is placed inside driving shaft (13) and is provided with ring (3) from the side of stop cylinder (10) and with guide (14) of the control device of position of rings (3,5) from the side of the pinion. The cones axes are inclined to axis of the variable-speed drive unit to provide contact lines of cones with internal and external ring surfaces to be parallel to the axis of the variable-speed drive unit.
