FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: computer-implemented method for computerised digital signal processing, which includes steps of receiving a digital signal from a data storage or from conversion of an analogue signal, and determining one or more measurement matrices from the digital signal. Each measurement matrix has a plurality of cells and each cell has amplitude which corresponds to the signal energy in the frequency bin for the time unit. Cells in each measurement matrix having maximum amplitude in the time unit and/or frequency bin are identified as cells with a maximum. Maxima which match on time and frequency are identified and a matrix of correlated maxima called a "precision measurement matrix", which presents matching maxima, is constructed and adjacent marked maxima are linked into chains of parts.
EFFECT: improved signal processing.
