FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: vibration-type flow meter (5) includes assembly (10) of the flow meter, which includes at least two measuring transducers (105, 105') and is configured for creation of at least two vibration signals, and measuring electronic equipment (20) configured to receive at least two above said vibration signals and to create a flow rate measuring signal, separation of the flow rate measuring signal into a number of time periods, where each time period includes one flow peak located in the centre of the time period, addition of flow rate measurements for each time period for creation of a sum for the period and division of the sum for the period for length of the time period for creation of average flow rate for the period, where measuring electronic equipment (20) displays sequence of average flow rates for the period as a signal of the average flow rate.

EFFECT: improving processing quality of pulse flows; improving measurement reliability of average flow rate; obtaining average flow rate with minimum delay from instantaneous flow rate.
