FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed shell comprises cylindrical part 1 and convex bottoms. This shell is composed by the combination of circular tapes 4 on cylindrical part and helical crossed tapes 5 oriented in circumferential and helical directions. Said tapes are made of unidirectional threads bonded by polymer binder with flanges arranged in polar bores of bottoms. Extra variable-width circular layers 11 are arranged at bottom, in the zone of connection with cylindrical part, and distributed between spiral layers. Said width decreased from inner later to outer layer to make outer integral stepped-conical surface. Their common circular linear stiffness Ebhb does not exceed appropriate stiffness of circular layers of cylindrical part Echc, where Eb, Ec and hb, hc are reduced modules of elasticity of circular layers and their common depth at bottom and cylindrical part, respectively while axial length does not exceed 0.07r, where r is the shell cylindrical part radius.
EFFECT: enhanced performances and higher efficiency.
