FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: reaper for harvesting agricultural crops for use with a working vehicle comprises a shaft extending substantially transverse to the direction of movement of the reaper. The shaft rotates about its axis in response to a contact of part of the element with the first lever when the reaper is in the first operating mode. The shaft does not rotate around its axis, when the reaper is in the second operating mode. The second lever rotates around the shaft in response to ground surface irregularities, when the reaper is in the second operating mode. The sensor, when the reaper is in the second operating mode, functionally connected to the second lever and the controller detects when the second lever is in the given position. The sensor communicates with the controller to implement the motion of the reaper relative to the ground, when the reaper is in the second operating mode.
EFFECT: automatic control of the reaper position during the use by the reaper of the second operating mode.
