FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: agricultural vehicle contains a chassis and a reaper system supported by the chassis. The reaper system comprises a cutterbar supported by a frame, a cutterbar sensor connected to the cutterbar, which gives a signal for the height of the cutterbar, a guage-wheel supported by a frame behind the cutterbar, a wheel sensor associated with the gauge wheel that gives a wheel position signal, a system of actuators containing actuators that can adjust the height and / or angle of the frame, and a controller electrically connected to the cutter bar height sensor, wheel sensor and actuator system. The controller is configured to receive a cutter bar height signal, receive a wheel position signal, compare the cutter bar height signal and a wheel position signal to determine the presence of an uneven relief and activate one or more actuators to adjust the frame in response to the determination of the presence of an uneven relief.
EFFECT: invention will improve accuracy of adjusting the reaper’s position relative to the soil surface.
